Laurie is a native of Central Texas who grew up in the Austin area. She has been a Realtor since 1999, previously working as a paralegal for 14 years. At ACC and St. Edward's University, Laurie majored in marketing and has combined that expertise with her passion for finding her clients the perfect home. She is skilled in the art of negotiation and weaves her talents artfully in working with buyers and sellers. Her son, Brandon, is training to be a fire fighter, following in his grandfather's footsteps. Daughter Amy and son-in-law, Travis, gave Laurie her first grandchild, Ms. Hailey Kaitlyn! Laurie joined Carol Dochen Realtors in 2008.

• Coordinated Operation Shoebox, 2004-2005, working with Realtors to provide and ship care boxes monthly to US troops in Iraq
