Austin – West / Westlake

The Texas Hill Country starts here! West of the Colorado River (Lake Austin) are beautiful new subdivisions and older lakefront weekend homes nestled on rolling hills filled with oaks and junipers. Rollingwood and Westlake Hills are small incorporated cities surrounded by Austin. Residents are only minutes from downtown and close to great restaurants and retailers. You can access Lake Austin from many of the neighborhoods!

Gorgeous rolling hills abound here! Homes are nestled between valleys, creeks, and several golf courses. Barton Creek Country Club is in the heart of the area, with three golf courses and gorgeous subdivisions. In the center of Oak Hill is the "Y," where Highways 290 and 71 split. West on 290 is the city of Dripping Springs.

Neighborhoods include Barton Creek, Estates Above Lost Creek, Travis Country, Regents, Westlake Hills, Davenport Ranch, Westview, Green Park, Hunterwood, Lost Creek, Rob Roy, Davenport Rim, Barton Creek West, Senna Hills, Palomino Ridge and Wood Island. Neighborhoods are individual septic or municipal sewer systems.

Eanes Independent School District (EISD) schools include:
Elementary schools: Barton Creek, Bridge Point, Cedar Creek, Eanes, Forest Trail, and Valley View
Middle schools: Hill Country and West Ridge
High school: Westlake. Rankings are very high in academics and sports.
