This area is just northeast of Austin and is experiencing tremendous growth, sparked by employees of Dell, Samsung, Applied Materials, and many more. Juxtaposed with the original downtown of once-rural Pflugerville are many recent subdivisions and parks. Highway 130-“Pickle Parkway” borders the area providing an alternative transportation route to IH-35.
 
Neighborhoods include Brookhollow, Settler’s Ridge, Heatherwilde, Gatlinburg, Windermere, and many others. Blackhawk subdivision includes a Blackhawk Golf Club.
